REV. IAN R. MACKAY
Reverend Ian Mackay has been the minister of this church since January 1994. Prior to his arrival in St. Lambert he served churches in northern Manitoba, south-western and eastern Ontario.
Mr. Mackay grew up in Toronto. His high school years were spent overseas, studying in Edinburgh, Scotland. He did his undergraduate work at St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia; and his post-graduate studies at Princeton Theological Seminary, New Jersey. He was ordained by Hamilton Conference, United Church of Canada.
His wife, Jane, is an active member of the congregation who gives special leadership to our church’s music program as director of our handbell choirs. Jane and Ian have three grown sons; John, Rob and Donald and two grandsons, Hugo and Paul. |
