CHRISTIAN DEVELOPMENT
The goal of the Christian Development committee to have an opportunity to further our understanding of Christian life. This is accomplished by having leadership which will provide Christian educational opportunities in the categories of Sunday School, youth and adult education. It is also envisioning ongoing support to individual, family and congregational education activities.
The Christian Development committee is responsible for: 1. The educational programs of this Church, including Church School, Youth groups and Adults. 2. The promotion, control and maintenance of audio-visual aids. 3. Recruiting and training of leaders of educational programs.
Our committee meets about once a month from September to May, usually after the church service and coffee hour on the third Sunday of the month. Our meetings usually last about an hour and anyone is welcome to give us suggestions of aspects of Christian education. |
