UNITED CHURCH WOMEN

 

St. Lambert United Church Women’s organization, our U.C.W., provides an opportunity for the women of our church to meet with other women to participate in stimulating projects and events, to address current issues of concern within the community or to help others who may be in need of support. We have a great deal of fun working alongside new and old friends in our varied activities. These include our famous Antiques, Arts and Crafts Sale in May, our Rummage Sale in September and our Christmas Tea and Sale in November. The monies raised are used to support our Church as well as numerous outreach projects.

 

General meetings featuring guest speakers or special programs such as our December Advent service are held two or three times a year. As well, smaller groups known as Units meet on a monthly basis with activities of special interest to their members. We hope that if you are not already a member of the U.C.W. that you will consider joining us.
