STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE
Stewardship is different things to different
people. Many think it is simply about raising money but in fact we are all
stewards when we follow God’s word in our daily decisions, actions and
thoughts.
The Stewardship Committee at St. Lambert United
provides information about the church and our work in God’s name through the newsletter
Church Alive! and
this web site.
We also coordinate the time, talent and treasure
campaign – Commit to Connect 2007 where we get pledges of offerings for the
year as well as organizing the congregation’s time and talents.
Our time and talent is used to help people in our
church and our community but the United Church Mission and Service Fund carries
out stewardship to those beyond our reach around the country and around the
world.

Our history
includes many outings. After all, we are stewards of the earth as well.

The committee meets usually once a month and is a
dynamic group of people with a wide range of experiences and ages. For more
information about what we do, contact Larry Elliot or Lesley
